UJVS is a not for profit, voluntary organization serving the poorest of poor community in northern part of India, as since last 22 years Uttaranchal Jan Vikas Samiti (UJVS) making its efforts to transform the life of vulnerable and marginalized community in the state of Uttarakhand, a twenty two year long journey and still continue UJVS has always pioneered to bring excellence and great service to the local community in terms of livelihood and agriculture.

UJVS is committed to deliver service to the community at various aspects such as women empowerment, health & hygiene, HIV/AIDS awareness, natural resource management, watershed etc. The organization is fully committed to reach the unreached with possible way of life so that they may have opportunity to live a life with dignity by generating self supporting/income generation activities
